Classical Psychotherapy

Person-centred psychotherapy, developed by Carl Rogers, is based on a simple but profound idea: every person has the inner resources to grow and heal - they just need the right conditions.

The Core Conditions

Rogers identified three essential qualities that create the conditions for therapeutic change:

Empathy

Deeply understanding your experience from the inside - not just intellectually, but feeling into your world as if it were my own.

Unconditional Positive Regard

Accepting you completely as you are, without judgment or conditions. Your worth is not something to be earned.

Congruence

Being genuine and authentic in our relationship. I don't hide behind a professional facade - I'm present as a real person.

How It Works

Person-centred therapy doesn't rely on techniques, diagnoses, or expert advice. Instead, it creates a space where you can safely explore your inner world. In this accepting environment, you naturally move toward greater self-understanding and authentic living.

This approach respects your autonomy. You are the expert on your own life. My role is not to fix you or tell you what to do, but to accompany you with full presence and understanding as you find your own path.

The Philosophy Behind It

Rogers believed that psychological difficulties arise when there's a gap between who we truly are and who we think we should be. When we're constantly trying to meet external expectations, we lose touch with our authentic self.

The therapeutic relationship offers something rare: a space where you don't have to perform or prove anything. In this freedom, you can begin to reconnect with what you genuinely feel, want, and need.

Scientific Foundation

Person-centred therapy is one of the most researched approaches in psychotherapy. Decades of studies confirm that the quality of the therapeutic relationship - especially Rogers' core conditions - is the strongest predictor of positive outcomes, regardless of the specific method used.

Why I Work This Way

After many years of practice, I've found that this approach fits both my personality and my deepest understanding of what helps people change. It's not a technique I apply - it's how I naturally am in relationship with my clients.
